Hello! Recently, I have been doing all of the housework at home and despite all the household appliances we have it still takes a lot of time every day. I think it is a topic that all people share, so I would like to give you some expressions to talk about housework.

こんにちは！

最近私が一人で家事を全部していて、

たくさんの器具があっても大変な作業ですね！

だれでもこの大変さがわかると思うので、

家事について話すための表現を紹介したいと思います。

Sentence 1: Tomorrow should be a good day to hang out the wash.　

センテンス１：　明日は洗濯物を干すのにいい日になりそうです。

Sentence 2: Who does the cooking at your house?　

センテンス２：　あなたの家でだれがご飯作っていますか？

Sentence 3: Housework just seems endless, doesn’t it?!

センテンス３：　家事は本当にきりがないんでしょうね！

Sentence 1 could be used to tell someone that the forecast is for sunny weather the next day. Weather is always a good conversation starter. Use Sentence 2 to ask someone who is living with someone if they cook or not. I think that Sentence 3 is a sentiment that anyone who does housework can share. If you talk to your foreign friends, you may find some differences in the way that people do housework so give it a try!

センテンス１を使えばだれかに明日の天気は晴れということを

お知らせすることが出来ます。

話題としては天気はいつもいいと思います。

聞き手はだれかと一緒に住んでいたら、

センテンス２で料理のことについて聞けます。

家事をやているだれでもセンテンス３に入っている気持ちがわかるはずです。

外国人の友達とこういう話をすれば、

家事のやり方の違いに気づくかもしれません。
